Head ChefChef Jacob Greene started his culinary journey with humble beginnings in Central Illinois, cutting his teeth in Mom & Pop shops washing dishes and busing tables. Growing up in the Midwest, he experienced the ultimate in American Comfort food from Mom’s homemade pies to Dad’s fried fish and smoked meats. Life on the rural highways of Illinois was spent traveling from home to work in the kitchen and the smells were abundant and inspiring! The diesel fuel, homecookin’ and fireworks all added up to a great passion for travel and cuisine.
With an insatiable thirst for travel, food and excitement, Chef Jacob sought a breadth of experience working in the country’s best and worst restaurants from Chicago, to Austin and San Francisco.
In the years of experience since, Chef Jacob has developed a forte for well balanced menus and delectable cuisine ranging from casual Chicago-style sandwiches, Southern Fried Chicken, French Classics and exciting comforts from across the globe. He loves curing meats, pickling anything he can get his hands on and smoking meats for the enjoyment of friends, family and guests alike.
Jacob shares his exciting life with his wife and three children. Having recently lived in San Francisco for many years, he is so happy to call sunny San Diego home.
